The next Inveresk Summer Walk will take place this Saturday. This is an eight mile walk which is mainly flat which starts at Ratho, goes along the Union Canal and River Almond before returning to Ratho.
We will leave from the War Memorial outside St Michael’s Kirk at 1.30pm, start walking at about 2.00pm and aim to be finished by 5.30 – 6.00pm. Afterwards we can go to the Bridge Inn in Ratho for a drink or if people are interested a bite to eat.
If you would like to join us can you please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know and also let me know if you can drive and take any passengers. Also please let me know if you would like to go to The Bridge Inn afterwards for a meal.

Thurs 18 June – Lammer Law
This is a 7 mile walk to the top of Lammer Law in the Lammermuir Hills. We’ll need to leave Inveresk at 6pm and the walk should take about 3 to 3.5 hours so we’ll be back before dark!
Sun 19 July – Pentlands
This is an 8 mile walk and we shall leave Inveresk at 1.30pm. The walk should take about 3.5 hours.
