Our next walk will be taking place this Sunday April 3. We’re off for a walk in the Borders of approximately 10.5 miles.
We’ll be leaving from Musselburgh Grammar on the number 30 bus at 8.43am on Sunday morning. We’ll then catch the 9.22am Borders train to Tweedbank from Newcraighall. Our walk will take in the Eildon Hills, St Cuthbert’s Way and the River Tweed before returning to Melrose. There will be an option to avoid the tops of the Eildons if you prefer.
The weather forecast is set fair but please bring full waterproofs along with warm clothes. Also, you will need a packed lunch but if there is an option for a coffee stop we’ll take this too.
We will aim to return on a train around 4pm and be back in Musselburgh around 5.30pm – 6.00pm.
We’ll meet at the bus stop at Musselburgh Grammar at 8.40am on Sunday morning. Please drop me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to come along so that I can look out for you.
Hope to see you on Sunday.
