The Inveresk Village website is now a year old! In that time there have been 159 posts about the goings on in Inveresk and the surrounding area. There have been notifications of concerts, films, walks, open gardens and planning applications for large developments that would have an impact on the village and much much more. We have had 298 visitors to the site and 12 people have commented on matters they have a view on, or with more information that they can contribute to the article posted.
I still meet a lot of people who live in the village who do not know about this website so please spread the word and encourage friends and neighbours to click on the blue ‘Follow’ button at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. If you do this, you will only receive notifications of what is happening within and around the village as it is posted and will not be inundated with ‘spam’. Also feel free to contribute to this website if you have information of local interest that you would like to share. There is information on how to do this on the website.
One of the first pictures posted on the website was a picture taken by Alison Butler of the beautiful magnolia on the way up the hill to St Michael’s Church. It is now flowering again and looking every bit as stunning so here is that photo again.
