The picturesque conservation village of Inveresk is situated on the hill above Musselburgh in East Lothian, looking out over the Firth of Forth. Due to it's strategic location, the village is steeped in history. Inveresk claims to be Scotland's oldest continuously lived in village and is built on the site of a roman fort dating back to the second century AD.
