Inveresk Village Walk – 2 April 2017

In 2017 I am going to organise walks each quarter rather than every month. If you have ideas for a walk you would like to do or if you would like to organise and lead a walk please let me know.

The first Inveresk Village Walk of the year will take place on Sunday 2 April. We’ll be heading out into East Lothian to East Linton before walking along the Tyne Valley and up and down Traprain Law. There will be the option of avoiding Traprain Law for those folk who would rather give this part a miss.
We will leave from the War Memorial at St Michaels Church at 1pm. The walk will take in the region of 3 to 3 1/2 hours and after the walk there will be the option of calling at one of the pubs in East Linton for something to eat.

Please bring with you warm clothes and full waterproof cover along with sturdy footwear. Could you also please let me know if you will be able to drive on the day (andrewduncan41@gmail.com).

I look forward to seeing you on April 2.

  1. Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your email.

I will be away on Sunday 2nd April, so will not make the walk on that date.

I would hope to make future walks. and would ask that you keep me on the mailing list.

    Many thanks, Bill Thompson
