MUSSELBURGH CONSERVATION SOC.: NEXT MEETING AND SUMMER TRIP

MUSSELBURGH CONSERVATION SOCIETY

Dear Members and Friends

“Aha!”,  I hear you say, “why is he e-mailing us so early for the next meeting?”  The reason is that it is on Thursday 6th April (rather than on our usual ‘second Thursday of the month’).

At the March meeting East Lothian on Film was presented by Walid Salhab and Dr Richard Butt Dr Richard Butt of the School of Arts, Social Sciences and Management at Queen Margaret University.  This included some historical footage of Musselburgh and also a very modern take on still-frame film-making showing local seascapes in their beauty.

The last meeting of this session, on the Battlefield of Pinkie by Dr David Caldwell is on Thursday, 6th April at 7.30pm in St Peter’s Church Hall.

If you have any friends who might be interested in joining, do please invite them along to a meeting, or let me have their contact details.

Below is the information for the Summer visit.

Best wishes
